Roegreen Junior School staff facility

Continuing on from the success of the eco-building at Roegreen, dm3a have been selected to design a ‘light and airy’ new staff facility. The proposal uses a redundant large flat roof area within the original 1950’s school building. The lightweight timber and glass design will be largely prefabricated to allow it to be lifted into position over the existing school roofs. The structural and physical constraints of the inner courtyard location presents unique architectural and structural challenges. Working closely with Integral Structural Design our aim is to provide an inspirational but relaxing space for the school staff. http://www.integral-sd.co.uk/index.htmhttp://www.integral-sd.co.uk/index.htmshapeimage_2_link_0shapeimage_2_link_1
